Soba (そば) are Japanese noodles made primarily from buckwheat flour, with a small amount of wheat flour.
Soba is a popular and healthy dish in Japan.
How to eat soba noodles?
- Hot Soba: Served in a hot broth with various toppings like tempura, meat, or vegetables.
- Cold Soba: Served chilled with a dipping sauce (tsuyu) made of soy sauce, mirin, and dashi, or you can simply use Hinode Soba Sauce.

Ingredients
Hinode Soba Sauce 100ml
Water 100ml
Soba noodles 100-200g
Green onion, Nori Seaweed (sliced for garnish)
Wasabi (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Combine water and Hinode Soba sauce, then bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Divide into individual cups for a dipping sauce. Garnish with sliced green onion.
As directed on the package, bring the soba noodles to a boil in a large pot.
Step 3
Drain the soba noodles in a sieve and rinse them under cold running water.
Step 4
Put sliced nori seaweed on the soba noodles. And enjoy!
Tips:
Soba sauce can be adjusted as preferred taste.
Soba menu can be enjoyed in a variety of ways.
