About the Recipe

Gyoza (餃子) are delicious Japanese dumplings with a crispy bottom and a juicy filling. They're a popular dish everyone can enjoy.

Ingredients

  • Minced meat .... 200g

  • A pinch salt

  • Gyoza skin ..... 24sheets

  • Sesame oil......... 5ml

  • Cabbage............. 150g

  • Garlic chive.........50g

  • Garlic ....................5g

  • Soy sauce .............5ml

  • Hinode Hon Mirin .......15ml

  • Hinode Ryorishu .........30ml


Preparation

Step 1

Finely chop the cabbage and garlic chive. Sprinkle a pinch of salt over them, then knead for 10 minutes to extract the water.



Step 2

Combine ground meat with salt, cabbage, garlic chives, garlic, soy sauce, Hinode Hon Mirin, and Ryorishu.



Step 3

Wrap it with gyoza skin.



Step 4

Warm the sesame oil in a frying pan and cook step 3 of the gyoza until they turn brown. Then add water, cover with a lid, and steam the gyoza for 4 minutes over medium heat.



Step 5

Uncover and fry over medium-high heat until the water evaporates. Serve warm with Hinode Gyoza Sauce.
